Funnily enough, some of those who held prior to September 28 2021 were able to achieve freehold sans selling LTR, with the MI6 spin off - that is, if they sold and banked the cash. However, many including self did NOT sell, so I guess it's a paper exercise until it's not.
Sell or hold, either way it's a win win.
