just bought 2500 shares for my 2 year old daughter. hoping to give her a substantial sum back when she is 18 towards a car, pay for her university or help contribute to a deposit on a property.
16 years is a long time in market, and wish my parents had of had the foresight to set me up with a small account, and give me the benefit of 16 years patience without me knowing i was being patient.
Plan to top up another 2500 shares in the next 6 months, and then do nothing for 16 years.
I guess im long now.
