Great post. We have indeed, among our LTR midst, "words-smiths" and "most informed and articulate thinkers..." Very true!
Always quote others word for word, I say. Do not paraphrase others. And certainly do not misrepresent what has been said by another. It is a form of dishonesty. If quotation marks are not used, then it is possible that faults abound. We all need to watch out for these! (Sheesh, I sound just like a teacher, lol.)
ps Just thought I'd get on to my high horse, as I am acutely aware of posters who do this.
