if you don't want your broker have possession of your shares you have the option to transfer them out of CHESS sponsorship to Issuer Sponsored holding status, which means the company (Liontown) keeps your shares on the register. If/when one wants to trade them, they can be brought back to CHESS fairly easily. I've been through the process with a relative's shares who had always kept their shares as Issuer Sponsored. I helped them establish a broker account and transferring.
