I told you yesterday that the shorters are actually buying more than they shorted in LTR according to the data..
We saw a lot of shorts in ASX short report, it was over 7m yesterday, but the number of shorted shares are not increasing in LTR according to Shortman data which comes 3 days behind.
That tells me the shorters are buying more shares than they shorted in a day.
Here is the shorting chart from Shortman. The number of shorts are going down when the sp is going down.
The short ratio in LTR is 3.42% of all shares or 75.2m shares.
However the situation in PLS and CXO is unfortunately terrible. These two great companies are being shorted very heavily.
As I said before these two companies are the only two remaining lithium companies which are not controlled by one man as in LTR and MIN.
So the shorters (we know who they are) want to get control of PLS and CXO in my opinion.
This is the breakdown of the situation now IMO.
What Blackrock-Vanguard-State Street (BVS) wants is this. They want to control of Australian hard rock lithium resources.
They already have 25% of Albemarle in US.
