For now particular reason other than my gut feeling, I would expect another offer from Albemarle from about Thursday for around $2.80. If it is going to be announced on the day or the following Monday after a board meeting is a different matter.
If today's announcements GS's becoming a substantial shareholder announcement and and SSC's ceasing to be a substantial holder announcement have anything to do with my gut feeling, I can't say with any certainty, however the previous TO offer was also preceded by similar GS and SSC announcements and even the one on 3rd of March.
Surprise surprise by the 27th of March both GS and SSC happened to be substantial holders! Lucky move, I guess!?!
On a different note, another few shares were going through after close today ...
