You'll never go broke taking a profit. If you are heavy in PLS then you are doing great. It's not healthy to look backwards or think what could of been, even though easier to put into words then practice.
Nothing in life is certain, especially the markets, so you are right be guarded.
Although lithium is a specialty chemical, it still trades like a commodity and the price will be cyclic. If you widen your lens, we are in a long uplift in the cycle but at some point I expect supply will catch up with demand. At the moment it seems like demand will outstrip supply for a long time. If it wasn't for the recent bid, I was very happy to sit tight well beyond our difficult ramp phase to see true value realised around 2026-7.
The bid has unsettled me and made me reavaluate what the heck am I doing holding on so long. Time to enjoy some of the spoils. I hope you get to enjoy them too.
