I'm embarrassed you felt the need to explain yourself. Who else can compare with your journey to be questioning your position and who cares anyway. Your contributions over the years speaks for itself and as you say the remaining 60% is substantial... likely to be top 50 worthy.
You need to be celebrating your new position and kick your heels up. I know it's in your nature to look after the people close to you, such as your sister and your children but don't forget to reward yourself. Do us a favour and splash out on you. Book some holidays and travel business class, go shopping, get that boat, buy that coastal house that you've wanted etc. When you've been conservative for so long it can be a challenge indulging. Enjoy it!
