    Yes, Gina and Chris are taking strategic stakes in lithium assets for their own business interests. I don't, however, agree that just because Gina was buying at $3 means she thinks it's actually worth that much. She bought to block the asset being sold. She wouldn't have increased her stake if there was no TO offer.

    Lithium is just like any other resource that goes through boom and bust. I agree I wouldn't be shorting LTR at these levels. I short based on setups (e.g breakdowns, support broken, etc.) and similarly go long on setups. I don't see any setup long or short. LTR has a relatively tight register, which probably exacerbates moves in both directions.

    AZS is a safe short at current levels. I can't see SQM increasing its $3.50/3.52 bid as they're already paying through the nose for it and if anything, they will probably pull out given where the share price is now at. And no one is going to trump their offer.
