I understand that Progress is slow but some worthwhile target has to be in place . Fossil fuels , or Nuclear power , will have to be used in the foreseeable future IMO , as renewables alone won’t be able to replace them completely . However I agree with tobiasroy that greed and profit are behind the fossils fuel companies , it’s definitely not concerns for peoples health !
