I couldn’t find anything online to suggest tony holds bhp shares. Do you have this info to share? Seems plausible but it could be only a small amount in comparison (if any at all)

I think the real reason was to fund the 57c options upcoming in feb (for triple the holding of what was sold). the amounts required to fund almost line up. fair enough. Yes he earns a good wicket and so do I and others around here. Pulling a liquid mill when required not always that easy.

Unfair to question TO credibility when he has been nothing but exemplary to date.

and assuming he needs the funds for tax / funding options or whatever, imagine if done during an offer period. He would polarise his shareholder base as being in support and cause all sorts.
