Cost of Production mumbo jumbo is regurgitated by many but in reality it is way Overblown.
DSO is dirt cheap to dig out of ground in Africa, truck to port and shipping to China is very economical, than add that in China reusing waste ore as aggregate in cement or roads (regardless of enviromental concerns) is minimising China's need to import aggregate for thier building program. In fact it is super beneficial like killing two birds with one stone.
Furthermore the idea of low quality ore contributing to low quality cell or that it cost more is ignorant of the realities.
