The market, by itself, is not going to prevent catastrophic global warming. Transitioning from dirty and polluting fossil fuels to clean energy and transportation requires government support through regulations, penalties and incentives.
If you choose to believe that climate change is a hoax, in the face of overwhelming scientific evidence and consensus, and despite all of the visible evidence in the news everyday, then that's up to you (moron). But the right to drive a polluting ICE vehicle, at the time when suitable alternatives are available, needs to be taken away from you for the sake of the rest of the population and the future of humanity. You should NOT be given the choice.
