i'm not sure that i agree with the sentiment that EVs should be incentivised. They should be worth buying based on a compeling economic argument to do so not because governments use the tax transfer system to further incentivise high and middle income individuals to buy cars that are proportionally more expensive than the average car.
re your statement on baseload energy - i absolutely agree that we should have a sensible discussion in Aust re nuclear. the latest generation reacters are, from what I've read, extremely safe and zero emissions.
