That change has saved how much in green house emissions ? Governments like to be seen to be doing the right thing , not actually doing the hard things .Why have they stopped thinking about Nuclear power ? It doesn’t matter how much cheaper green energy is , if it’s not th available 100 percent of the time , you need something else . Too hard for Government ? agree the savings ( in terms of overall emissions ) between ICE and EV vehicles is very hard to quantify . The most realistic breakdown I’ve seen was 50 percent reduction over a vehicles lifespan , which was based on 150,000 kiIlometres . It’s certainly no where near what the greens say .

Totally agree. We need nuclear to run EV. Not unreliable wind and solar that cannot provide base load power.
