There are four huge unknowns here
1. Will the lithium price recover after the Chinese new year holidays? February 10th to 17th
2. Will Gina make a bid or just use the 3% creep allowance? February 11th
3. Will the company secure a new finance facility before end March?
4. Will the Australian government provide support to critical minerals suppliers?
The current share price seems to suggest NO to all four and that KV will be put into care and maintenance. A yes to any of these will see a 20% price increase for LTR. All four will at least double the current price. My sole proviso is that there are at least 8 banks who know more than shareholders and if you think their trading arms do not know what is going on you believe in Chinese walls.
My added investment today was on the basis that the market can remain irrational for far longer than a retail investor can stand. If I am wrong the price in one weeks time will be lower than today’s close.
