Although this is speculation, I was contemplating TO's presentation at the BMO confrence next week and trying to understand why he would absent himself from Australia at a time when his staff are reaching the crucial commssioning stage of our plant and also the vital negotiations with lenders to secure the finance package we need?

I also thought that a la the fairy godmother comments arising from @yaschmidt posts recently about the possibility of a grant from the US Department of Energy to facilitate our requirement for finance, might be a reason for the visit. Refer this post..... https://hotcopper.com.au/posts/72413052/single

I am now coming around to @yaschmidt 's view. The fact that he is going there in person rather than sending one of his trusty lieutenants (or indeed going at all), might be significant. Could he be going to finalise (ie sign off) a grant or perhaps more likely, a loan from the US Department of Energy?

    regards
    DF
