Sea freight is cheap, not anything like inland shipping.
China imported over 200 million tons of iron ore from Brazil every year, which was travelling much longer distance than LTR intended to USA, Brazil to China, around 25,000kms, 35-40 days on the sea, the important part, is coming to shipping cost, which is only around US$20-30 per ton.
WA to USA, sea shipping distance is similar to Brazil to China.
Lithium spodumene volume would be less than iron ore, but still will be cheap, I'd guess around US$50 per ton.
LTR, is also shipping to LG, and possibly considers to build a converter in Japan as around 50% grant offered by Japanese government.
All imo.
