Argentina’s largest state, in terms of Lithium supply, has halted all new permits for Lithium projects as a result of an indigenous group winning a lawsuit. The area includes the Salar del Hombre Muerta.
The projects for Arkadium and POSCO, which already have permits, are not affected but about a half dozen projects, including Chinese majors like Zijin have been stopped cold.
More of all that “planned upcoming supply” being delayed and/or halted.
