Hopefully, regulators in Aust will veto it one day like other countries have done already, especially as it particularly impacts adversely upon the MC of our best emerging industries such as critical minerals!"

Most things gravitate toward "fair value" in the long run.....and create additional opportunity for those in the short term with an understanding of what fair value may be (notwithstanding the many unknown and assumptions associated with it!).
