The other point I don’t think anyone has highlighted is that the UG has started to reach the sweet spots where every tonne being blasted has spodumene and therefore go in directly as feed with no waste- that differentiates KV from all others
Note that sigma is using DMS and producing below sc 6% just like PLS and this 9% pricing is what they’ve managed to achieve. ——

The Question to be answered soon: Can Ltr achieve 9%? Yes if you think LTR has the sigma caliber in its negotiations. But it doesn’t stop there, if you then add the added premium of 6.3, wouldn’t you be looking at 11-12% realised price vs hydroxide?
In Q124 IGO achieved a price of $1,034 vs PLS realised $804, a usd200 gap
I wouldn’t be surprised if LTR would achieve USD250/tonne more than mediocre producers. Considering premium KV grade and Penalties are currently around USD170.
250/t alone folks is as much as aud230 milllion pa ‘top up’ to Ltr’s bottom line
so folks, I’d recommend some of you stop giving the naysayers the front centre stage of the Ltr forum. Let the newbies learn to sharpen their insights. Based on whom they listen to, let them make a million or two, or fall for the pits of missing out.
