Hi Budgie! I believe lithium carbonate is preferred for battery makers wanting to produce LiFePo4 batteries. So I'm assuming that the Chinese buyer is wanting spod for lithium iron phosphate batteries and thus the pricing is based on the preferred carbonate pricing for that reason. Sounds logical if so?
