All that has happened is long term investors have increased their positions over a long period of time. Many sold at highs and bought much more when buying back in. Over a long period of time, their investment strategy places them in a much more profitable position. Just like many who in the early days of Tesla, or Rio, or BHP, NVIDIA, Amazon, etc. did, much to the annoyance of knucklehead losers that think shorting is the only way to make money
Shorters don’t get it. Investors who have a long term plan, don’t give one flying f..k about the short sighted strategies of shorters. Tell your story to a Tesla investor who bought say 5,000 shares when they were only $17, where they have since gone to near the $400 mark on a few occasions.
You can short all you like, but nobody can short ride Tesla from $400 down to $17.
Same as nobody will be able to short Liontown from $3 down to 10 cents or below. So those buying LTR at 10 cents, and there are many, will always have made much much more $$$ than any of your shorting mates.
What is 1Ronnie’s theories on the benefits of long term investment, compounding etc..? You peanut.
