I posted this somewhere a few days back. The numbers represent actual or potential Lithum mines. (Some only in very conceptual stages.)
As far as I can determine online the railways from Zimbabwe to Beira and Maputo function.
There is even talk of extending the Beira line (Machipanda railway) across into Botswana as they have a plan for coal mining ! (Ouch!)
