Liontown roars as S&P/ASX200 closes higher
Karoon Energy (ASX:KAR) and Liontown Resources (ASX:LTR) were top performing stocks to roar in the S&P/ASX200 which yesterday (26 July 2024) closed 0.76% higher, gaining 60.10 points.
The S&P/ASX200 on Friday closed at 7,921.30, crossing above its 20-day moving average.
Karoon Energy (ASX:KAR), which is an oil and gas exploration and production company in Brazil, the US, and Australia was a top performer in this index closing 5.75% higher.
Liontown Resources, which is a battery minerals company focused on its transition from an explorer to producer, closed 5.46% higher.
The index has dropped 0.63% for the past five days and sits 2.01% below its 52-week high.
