I normally don't engage in these conversation but will make an exception on this part "Yet they were celebrating the milestone of first production like they were part of the business," last time I checked all shareholder are by definition part owners of the business and have more to gain and lose than employees of the business. So if company fails we lose money and if company executes well then we make more money (on paper or otherwise)... This is a very important milestone for any company and all stakeholders so should be celebrating as it's significant de-risking.
