My wife recently insisted on me tagging along for a test drive of Kia EV9 recently . The GT line one. Salesman showed us the 0 to 100 in 5 seconds, or the first bit to 55km/hr in backstreets. Insane. Suffice to say my wife has now procured (on lease) the rear wheel only and even with that she's real happy for her 65km per day commute. They dropped prices sufficiently to get just below the luxury car tax and FBT, so depreciation impact will be offset nicely plus expecting to save about $3K/year in petrol.
