For me it’s pretty simple ,Gina is trying to smother the price to current levels and exhaust share holders so that when she makes a bid, say $2.00, it will look like a decent offer. But if the price of lithium turns as expected, she then invites indirectly other potential suitors to possibly make a TO and more buying competition, which is good for share holders. Its a fine balancing act, but she will need to act quickly if price of lithium suddenly turn.s.

How the 80/20 rule works with hostile or friendly takeovers works I don’t know but that will be interesting. Then again if lithium really starts to ramp up price wise, there will be no takeover and happy days for investors unless Gina then pays a premium.Nobody picked the sudden turn in iron ore prices but the momentum for the use of lithium is on the up and up.Plenty of scenarios to be played out , I think all will get revealed sometime before the end of 2024.
