This sentence for me really sticks out as a future driver of the LTR share price. It is true IMO and you are one of the first to point out this important piece of information. Just out of curiosity, I’ve been watching numerous analysts who use charting as their go to for investing discuss LTR. They all so predictably point out the testing of previous lows, gaps, etc. as bad signs of current action and where it is going, but despite nearly all of them saying they are wary of LTR at the moment, they all still talk about liking LTR overall, in that it does have the potential to go well once things pick up with lithium.

The fact LTR is that type of company that has so many investors watching and waiting for that ‘right’ moment for them to get in again, such as investors like your clients @CapitalKing, or many others simply for their first time, does spell doom for the shorters if that time comes along. There will be strong competition to get in when everything picks up again for another up cycle.

I believe that one huge mistake shorters make is underestimating just how many are holding onto cash waiting for the right stock to plough into. We see figures of 28 to 30,000 as the number holding LTR, but there may be just as many, or twice as many waiting for the right moment. That is a lot waiting to buy if my outlook is correct. Look at stocks like BHP or RIO etc. RIO has over 170,000 holders of its stock. So there is a lot of money waiting out there that nobody can ever really know about. There are ALWAYS watching eyes. Many of those eyes just might decide soon that it’s time to have another close look at LTR.

Absolutely! I’m just waiting in the wings, waiting for the higher low to be locked in 80c ish is my thoughts then a gradual walk up 85c 90c Dec/Jan.

The price is only where it is because of the short sellers, and I understand the short sellers quite well. Their arguments don't hold up well especially as things are starting to shift.

Their view is quite focused on the futures pricing, however all analysts believe that spodumene and carbonate pricing will be up in 2025, so the short sellers are actually ultimately defeated by their own logic. Notwithstanding this, there will be a lag when lithium price is correcting thus pushing it to even higher limits, (production takes time to commission again after being in care and maintenance).

I would not want to be a short seller in LTR right now, because the share price has been manipulated so low it has to potentially to rocket upwards as institutions close their short positions and begin to buy. In fact, I remember seeing LTR in a lot of my clients superannuation funds when I was practicing as an accountant so I know this has the potential to be re-accumulated quite quickly.

Further, the agreements that LTR has with its off-take partners are long-term and for high quality product so I do expect the pricing mechanisms to be good, after all the off take partners such as Tesla acquired their nickel from the likes of BHP. LTR is up there as a producer and strong pricing will follow, especially as the company matures into production and the commodity prices recover as every analyst expects. Short sellers may have to learn the hard way when they are forced to buy back the shares!

Regardless, even if I'm wrong in the short-term (which I doubt), I will simply accumulate more and win in the long-run... Can't say the same for the short sellers... It's obvious where LTR will be from 2025-2030.
