It's not for everyone, probably never will be. I can't imagine the time where you'll see a farmer slashing a few acers of grass with a batter powered tractor.
My underlying point is the increasing shift of some items towards battery power. What started off as very niche is now becoming more and more popular.
As battery density increases so do the uses for and popularity of battery powered devices.
