I agree that the huge and rapid appreciation in share price, coupled with massive value and volume traded underpins reasoned speculation that something other than just ASX300 rebalancing might be afoot.
However, in circumstances where:

In my respectful opinion, TG and the directors would not be in possession of material information about take-over that has not been released to the market.
Anyway, what an outstanding last few weeks it has been for “The Lion” and congratulations to all shareholders, old and new. Much to which to look forward in the development of this great company.
