I’ve been in a popular Asian skiing location and touring the country the last two weeks.
Influx of Chinese to the country was very very noticeable at start of the Chinese New Year and even more noticeable last night was the volume of Chinese getting on trains to the airport and at the airport to return by start of the new working year on Monday.
The action today may well be associated with anticipated coming business return in China from next week and shorts bailing early. Similar reduction on shorts (4 days old news) is being seen on other ASX Li stocks.
