Pretty sure he's been on the blower informing the analyst that the natives are getting restless and he fears for his hide.
Ore analyst like Covid-19 just cannot be controlled.
Think about this; What if they did comply with a rush job and reported a very poor result, only to discover down the track that a mistake was made and the results were very very good, NO OUTSTANDING, but too bad, everybody sold up and moved on.
Just for interest sake, how would that make someone feel who had enough shares to make a real difference, but bailed on erroneous data analysis?
