But on a serious note,these are unusual times,in fact the last time these events occured was back in 73/74 and before that 29/30.Yes,hard to believe we could repeat our past mistakes in this modern day and age,but they probably said the same thing then!
It's tough and while we are all deleveraging...i.e. paying off our inflated mortages/credit cards......well,probably not you and me,but the population generally,well,I'm afraid these conditions will persist.
That's all it is......paying back debt.
What I find interesting is all the rehashed stories of how the world will end.Looking back,whatever happened to the Middle East starting WW3,or,running out of oil by 1986,or being hit by the atomic bomb in 1972,what about the Y2K bug....whorrr! that was a beauty,and then there was Nostradamas predictions back in the 80's,Big Brother watching.....instead just turned to some second rate TV show.....Peak Oil....I could go on and on.
