Patagonia Lithium has drilled two wells at its Formentera Project in northern Argentina, with the first achieving 591 ppm lithium and more than 10 litres/minute flow rate with an aquifer that measured more than 21 meters in depth at 370 meters.
In this interview, Patagonia Lithium Executive Chairman Phillip Thomas discusses the drill results in Argentina, as well as the company’s exploration licenses being granted in Brazil.
Patagonia Lithium has had the majority of its exploration concessions granted in Brazil, in Minas Gerais state, where it’s exploring for lithium (spodumene) niobium and rare earths in ion adsorption clays. Patagonia has staked adjacent to the famous Aracai carbonatite rare earth project that has an existing niobium mine that produces 91% of the world's niobium.
