ASX has been working on a DLT-based replacement for its ageing clearing system for nearly five years. Although it had originally been scheduled for April 2021, the exchange said in late March it would delay the launch date over the uncertainty caused by the coronavirus. At the time, Karantzis said ClearPay was on track to launch sometime in early 2021.

The ASX’s proposed shift to blockchain technology has been moved from April 2021 to April 2022, with Computershare wanting a delay till April 2023.

clearly we all can see NSX has the upper hand on this and ASX are doing a very good job in trying to stop it from happening.... NSX will outperform ASX once clearpay is introduced in early 2021.

I do not hold share in either NSX nor ASX, however I can not let something like this slide.

I for one will be trading in NSX once this happens...

    Goodbye ASX. RIP
