The recent AGM presentation syas that BPT is 'knocking on the door' of the ASX100. I am based in the UK but assume that this means the same as a FTSE100 entrant where tracker funds need to buy on the quarterly rebalancing day, which is Friday 16th december 'after close' according to the S&P/ASX website. So does this mean that the price will go up on the following Monday as trackers buy? And that lots of opportunists will pile in beforehand and sell on the Monday?

I am wondering whether to sell some of my holding then and try to buy back later when the price might have fallen back. I note that the sp has reached just over $1.6 a couple of times in the last 5 years so maybe this is a resistance point? I would love some advice from those closer to the action.
