I've just had a brief look at the ASX300 and it gets rebalanced in September. I noticed that there are several companies in the index with a similar market cap to LTR, e.g. Altura $233m, Maca $251m, New Century Resource $245m, Paladin $254m. Hot Copper is showing a market cap of $230m for LTR today, although the way it is trading it could be substantially more by 4pm. I'm no expert on indices but I would hazard a guess that Liontown could be included in the ASX300 come September. That would automatically generate more buying as certain investment houses and superannuation funds would be obliged to add it to their holdings....Am I missing something or is this likely?
