re: why commodities boom is not over Commodities boom ain't over. Inflationary cycle has just begun. Doesn't translate to growth in equities as the costs and risks of producing all these commodities increases. In other words welcome stagflation! Little infrastructure built to deal with a new world of expensive energy. Goods of little use will be culled in production as goods of need increase in demand.
