Yes... you are correct, my mistake We may see some weakness in the US gold price in the short term, as a double top looks to have formed; also commercial banks currently have record short positions on both silver and gold; but they have been wrong more then once this year!
As Gerald Celente said recently, the next meaningful correction in gold will be the last opportunity to buy gold and gold stocks at a discount. He believes once it goes over $1400 it will move quickly to $2000.
A lot of the seasoned gold investors don't trade gold stocks during a bull market because it is very easy to get shaken out of positions.
I have learnt the exact same thing recently, after getting shaken out of both my long term positions in MOY and BLK, very frustrating.
