I'll put it out there that this issue has taken a new turn.
Remember the boat with 200 plus on board? Kev had it turned back via a phone call.
And remember the boat with 105 people on board where all are presumed dead? It just vanished despite it being monitored.
I'm happy to be corrected via the stats, but there appeared to be an unwritten and policed convention that there be no more than somewhere between 80 to 100 people on board.
I'd argue this because in the good old days there used to be over 300 people crammed on dodgy boats at a time and the two above examples I gave, the second being a possible conspiracy IMO.
If the numbers on boats get bigger it is IMO an indication of just how out of control gillard and her incompetents are on this issue - and they are making blue ribbon Lib seats deal with the fall out by dumping the seekers in their electorate.
It is an outrage and they are getting away with it.
