This person is only Burmese if they carry a Burmese passport which is unlikely as he was an illegal boat scum. If he is Rohingga he is 100% muslim and more than likely Bangladeshi. To refer to him as Burmese is inaccurate unless he has a Burmese passport.
He was nor forced to come to Australia as a beggar on our welfare state. Whatever problem he has is his as he was an illegal. Don't like the system here then clear off.
