    Gne, while i honestly applaud your effort to take people into your home and help them, that shows empathy.

    However you are missing two points.

    They chose to come illegally to this country.. if you do something illegal you suffer the consequences what ever that maybe.

    The current government is doing all it can to stop these illegal arrivals.. you may call it heartless..i think it's smart..it stops any suffering on their travel, on their arrival, stops bleeding hearts saying they are being abused in detention( which is just a pitiful excuse to get them released) and it also helps all Australians ..how? by being a burden on our already over used welfare and taxes.

    It't the previous government who allowed the human trade to flourish
