Yest it was stated that they had reached TD depth and in their defence it was information from someone working for TNP. They did an awesome job getting any info out of these guys, seeing we all know that they do not let anything slip. Thank You.
Did some number crunching last night and things were confirmed by sonlite update. They would have had to have been drilling through like mad men to get to 16000, this they cannot do through the target zone. We now know that it is not the case. One thing I am almost sure about is they really cannot not call this a duster.
There have been cases on wells stopping short of TD zone seeing they passed the target zone without HC contact and then drilling got harder and they stopped (eg SUR). But with respects to SUR TD was 1425 they stopped at 1300 and same with the rest stopped at a nice figure. It reminds me of Austin Powers saying ?who throws a shoe?seriously??..?WHO STOPS AT 15462 ?SERIOUSLY?. Hence I believe they have hit something and it is substantial.
IMHO I still say that this well, and what has happened over the last day or so is very good and has made me feel very comfortable in owning a lot of QPN and QPNO. I truly believe that this well will be what we have all waited for and it can be a company maker.
