You do benefit. You benefit from the collective $31b spent throughout the country.
Its a collective benefit. I benefit by ensuring my community have good access to healthcare, good access to schooling.
Without good healthcare and schooling, the opportunities for my community are decreased.
Typical boomer thinking, only thinking about the direct benefits to their own pockets.
