    Teresa is in the top quality German Creek Coal Measures which it shares with other premium quality hard coking coal mines such as German Creek (Anglo),Oaky Creek (Xstrata),Gregory(BHP) and Kestrel(Rio Tinto)
    Apart from some remnant high strip ratio coal at Gregory(soon to be depleted) all these mines are high cost UG longwalls. In comparison the 200MT of open cut coal at Teresa would be much lower cost to mine and I am not surprised to read that other companies are showing interest.
