Just reporting in from the early morning shift (4:20 am) with the good news that gold is up 84 buckaroos.

That's right!

$84.60 in American Dollars

The Aussie gold price has leapt to $1081

Lord Spesh and a few others had better start practicing their butt kissing.......LOL

You may yet be called upon to demonstrate your prowess at the ancient art form, at the soon to be announced $5 party.

At last we have a disconnect from the financial stock quagmire, and the first signs of a flight to the safe haven status of gold. The gold shares have attracted a bid overnight as well with the HUI up 37 points. No doubt the rise will be opposed violently by the 'Powers That Be' in the next few days, but the rise tonight is most likely an indicator of what is to come?

And hopefully those 2 mill ounces of gold (at an attractive grade) that IGR have sitting in the ground may have some value after all?
