    The labour party has a number of MPs who are directors of large clubs who rely on gaming revenue to survive. I know that those MPs will not allow their clubs which support them to suffer in any way. I believe this is a volatile issue for the ALP and has the potential to split the Party. Grass Roots support for the party is well entrenched in these working class clubs and they give enormously to their local communities. Gillard is well aware of this and so are Wilkie and Xenephon.
