i think most people on this site are invested in commodity stocks
the commodity indices are down , algo trading sells them off and commodity heavy portfolios get smashed
my one health care stock (and the index) is doing fine but hasnt had anything special happen to keep the price up
I have heard the arguments against diversification, but sector diversification i am having a rethink on
the ASX has had winning sectors which are now losing sectors - it was that long ago that RE , media and IT were all the rage and commodities were nothing
