Sure, it's an old article, however they mention that one of Ben McGarry's red flags is "when companies debt fund acquisitions that cost too much and don't create value". This looks a lot like G8's predicament based on 16/8's report.
I agree, we need the true context of when this article was written, however the strategy was correct, except it took much, much longer.
Anyway I'm stuck with the shares, just waiting for my magic number to minimize my losses.
